Bachchusingh Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at House Number 27/175 in Havelibahadur Khan. It’s a residential area, so we are right in the middle of the community. We aren't a big corporation with a tall building. Most of our work happens right there in the front room or out in the fields near the town. We started this because the local farmers needed a better way to organize ourselves. When you are just one person, it is hard to get people to listen to you. But as a group, we have a bit more weight behind us. We deal with all sorts of farming issues, from getting the right supplies to finding buyers who won't lowball us. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls, which none of us really enjoy, but it has to be done. We take turns handling the administrative side of things. It is definitely a learning process for all of us. We make mistakes sometimes, but we learn from them and keep moving. We just want to make sure the farmers in Havelibahadur Khan get a fair shake. We don't have any polished speeches. We just tell it like it is. If you want to know how the crops are doing, you just have to ask. We are just local people working for our neighbors and our families every single day. There’s no big secret to what we do, it’s just consistency and showing up.
