Ambika Beauty Parlour

Ambika Beauty Parlour is a small place tucked into Shop No 8 at Bajrang Market. We are on Raja Mandi Road in Agra, right near the post office. If you live around Raja Mandi, you know how packed the streets get with shoppers and scooters. Our shop is not very big, but we have everything we need to do hair and facials. The post office next door brings a lot of people to this corner, so we often see people peeking in while they wait for their mail. I usually spend the first part of my day cleaning the mirrors and checking the supplies. It is a local shop, so we do not have any corporate rules. We just chat with the ladies who come in about their families or the local market prices. During the wedding season, it gets really hectic and we are often here until late at night doing henna or fixing hair. The fans hum constantly to keep the air moving. There is a tea stall nearby that makes the best chai, and we often have a cup while we are waiting for a customer. It is a simple setup with a few chairs and some shelves for our creams and lotions. We have been in Bajrang Market for quite some time now, and we like the familiar faces that drop by even just to say hello.
