Tirumala Earth Movers

Tirumala Earth Movers. We are based out of 9-95 Sakhera Sonala Boath. The machines are heavy and loud, but that is how it goes when you are moving soil and rocks all day. My father started this with just one old backhoe, and now we have a few more parked out front. Boath can get really dusty in the summer months, so you spend half the day just cleaning filters and making sure the grease is where it needs to be. It is hard work, mostly digging for foundations or clearing land for people nearby. Sometimes the weather stops us for a week, and we just sit around the shop fixing tools. Most folks around Sakhera know where to find us if they need a trench dug. We don't have a fancy office or anything. Just a desk with too many papers on it and the smell of diesel. The yard is usually full of spare parts and tires. If a machine breaks down on a job site, we have to load up the truck and go fix it right there. It makes for some long nights under work lights. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It's not glamorous, but the work is steady and the community here is good to us. We’ve been at this address for a long time now and have no plans to move elsewhere. We just focus on the job at hand.
