Roshini Earth Movers

Roshini Earth Movers is based out of our place at 2-54/1 in Ruvvi Mudhole. We have the big machinery parked right there in the open space. It’s mostly just digging work for foundations or clearing out land for new projects around the village. The machines are loud and they use a lot of diesel, so I’m always worrying about the prices at the pump. My hands are usually stained with oil because these things need constant greasing to keep them running smooth in the dirt. Mudhole has some tough soil, really rocky in parts, so the equipment takes a beating. We don't have an office with a receptionist; you just come to the house and shout for me. If I’m out on a job, my wife usually tells people when I’ll be back. We started with one old backhoe and slowly added a bit more over the years. It’s a tough business because if a machine breaks down, work stops and the money stops too. I spend a lot of my Sundays just crawling under the engines to make sure they are okay for Monday. The kids like to climb on the tires when I’m not looking. It’s just a small family business. We don't do any advertising, word of mouth in Ruvvi is usually enough to keep us busy through the season. We just take the work as it comes and try to do it right.
