Sri Sai Baba Travels

Our travel business is run out of house number 2-27 in Chinthakunta Thanda, over in the Mudhole area. We aren't located in a big city, so most of our trips involve driving through the countryside and connecting people between the smaller villages and the bigger towns like Yedbid. The roads can be pretty rough in some spots, especially after a heavy rain, so we spend a good amount of time checking our vehicles for any wear and tear. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights, depending on when someone needs a ride. Sometimes it is a group of people going to a temple, and other times it’s just one person needing to get to a bus station. We keep our logbooks and keys at the house, and the phone usually stays near us all day in case a call comes in. The Thanda is a quiet place, so everyone knows when we are heading out for a long trip. We have to keep an eye on the fuel and the tires because there aren't many garages out this way. It’s just about being reliable and knowing the shortcuts through the backroads. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big office, just our vehicles and the knowledge of the local routes. It is a simple life of driving and meeting different people from around the district. We just aim to get everyone to their destination and get back home.
