D K Goods Transport is over at H. No. 4-8-503/2 in Khursheednagar. We spend a lot of our time dealing with trucks and logistics. It’s a bit of a crowded area, so parking and moving big vehicles can be a puzzle some days. The office is just a room in the house where we keep all the papers and the phone. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things get from one place to another. Khursheednagar is a lively spot with lots of activity. Our days are mostly spent on the phone or talking to drivers. It can get pretty hectic when a shipment is running late or the weather turns bad on the road. We don’t use any complicated software to track things, just our notebooks and memory. It’s a very hands-on way to run a transport business. We’ve been at this house for a while now, so the local drivers know exactly where to find us. There’s no polished reception desk here. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting there. We deal with all sorts of goods, whatever people need moved. It’s a lot of work and long hours, especially during the busy season. But we like the movement of it all. It’s just a small local operation in the heart of the neighborhood, keeping things moving day after day. We just hope for clear roads and good weather. It makes everything easier for the guys on the trucks.
