Kalavathi Travels

We are Kalavathi Travels and you can find us at H. No. 2-82 in Bombaiguda village. This is part of the Bejjur mandal, which is a bit quiet but we like it that way. Being out in a village means you have to be ready for anything. We don't have a big fancy office with computers and secretaries. Most of the business is done right here at the house or over the mobile phone while we are out on the road. People in Bombaiguda know they can come to us when they need to travel. We know the shortcuts and which roads are washed out after the monsoon. It's not a glamorous job, just a lot of driving and making sure the engine doesn't overheat in the summer. We treat our vehicles like they are part of the family because they are how we eat. Sometimes we take people for doctor visits or to the market in the bigger towns nearby. It's nice to see the same faces again and again. We don't do any marketing or put up big signs. Everyone just knows where house 2-82 is. My wife helps with the bookings and I do a lot of the driving myself. It's a modest life but we are our own bosses. We just take one day at a time and hope the tires hold up on these rough village paths. It's enough for us.
