It’s a decent-sized spot where we handle our weaving work. The textile park is full of other units like ours, so there is always the sound of machinery in the background. It’s an industrial vibe, nothing like a retail shop in the city. We spend our time monitoring the looms and making sure the yarn is behaving like it should. It’s dusty work and can get pretty loud, so we usually have to shout to hear each other over the machines during the shift. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist to greet people. If you show up, you’ll likely find us on the floor checking the progress of the latest batch or fixing a thread. The commute to Kamrej can be a bit long depending on where you stay, but it’s where the space is available for this kind of work. We’ve been here for a bit now, just doing our thing. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We deal with the daily ups and downs of production, like when a machine breaks down or a shipment is delayed by the rain.
