We’re over at Shop No. 2028/29 in the Jash Textile & Yarn Market, right on Ring Road. It’s a crowded place, like most markets around here. You have to weave through a lot of people and carts just to get to our door. Inside, we have mostly yarn and fiber samples taking up all the shelf space. It’s a busy atmosphere with people constantly coming in to check prices or look at the latest batches of fiber. We don't really have a reception area; you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently on the phone. We've been in this market for a good while, so we know most of the other shop owners on the floor. It’s a noisy, fast-paced environment, but we like it that way. We don't use much in the way of corporate language because that’s not how people talk in the market. We just talk about the weight, the feel, and the price of the fibers. Sometimes the heat in the market is a bit much, but we have a couple of old fans that do the job. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, but we have what people are looking for when it comes to yarn. We just stay focused on our inventory and making sure we can fulfill the requests that come in every day. The market is a maze of smells, mostly tea and raw yarn. We have a small stool for visitors, but most people just stand while they talk.
