Our office is tucked away in Khiriki Extension, right in the Malviya Nagar area of New Delhi. We are on the ground floor of Jb 9E, which is nice because nobody has to bother with stairs or a slow elevator. New Delhi is always moving at a million miles an hour and we are just right in the thick of it all. Cox & Kings has been a name people know for a long time, and this specific little spot handles a lot of the local walk-ins. The street outside can get pretty cramped with scooters and those delivery vans, mostly in the early mornings. We have got a few desks set up and there is almost always a pot of tea or some coffee sitting in the back room. It is definitely not a quiet place like a library. We spend our time handling travel details and all the messy paperwork that goes along with it. Sometimes the internet gets a bit slow or the printer decides to jam, but we always find a way to get it sorted out. People come in and ask about all kinds of trips to different places. We just sit down with them and see what is actually available on the screen. It’s just practical work. We do not have shiny brochures stuck to every single inch of the walls. Living and working in Delhi means you just learn to live with the constant noise. Our office is not massive, but it does the job for the day.
