Mani Auto Services is situated at H. No -3-11/1 in Damaranchapalli, which is part of the Regonda area. We are a small local garage where we handle repairs for bikes and sometimes bigger vehicles. The shop is right there in the village, so it’s easy for people to drop off their machines on their way to work. We spend our days covered in grease and handling various spare parts. It’s not a polished place by any means. There are tires leaning against the wall and oil cans sitting on the shelves. We’ve been working here for years and have seen all kinds of mechanical problems. Most of the time, it's something simple like a brake adjustment or an oil change. Other days, we have to take the whole engine apart to find a leak. We don't use any fancy computers to tell us what is wrong. We just use our eyes and ears to figure it out. It’s a practical job and we enjoy the puzzle of fixing something that was broken. The people in Damaranchapalli are our friends and neighbors, so we see the same faces quite often. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just open up the shutters every morning and see who comes by. It’s a quiet life in the village, and we are happy to keep the local vehicles moving. Sometimes people bring us tea while we work on their bikes.
