Konark Equipment Combustion Engineering

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 85/1 and 85/2-1 in Phase-1 of the Gidc, C area. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it is basically just a couple of connected plots where we do all our engineering work. We focus on combustion equipment, which means things get pretty hot and loud around here. Most of the guys have been with us for years and they know the machines inside out. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. Usually, if someone needs a burner or some thermal engineering done, they just find us through word of mouth or see the sign out front. The office is small and usually has stacks of blueprints all over the desks. It gets dusty because of all the metalwork going on in the back, but that’s just how it is in an engineering shop. We spend most of the day welding, cutting, and testing the setups to make sure they actually work before they go out. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly on the first try, so we have to go back and fix it until it’s right. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The Gidc is always noisy, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the lights on and do the engineering work properly for everyone who comes by.
