Sr. Prod. Engg

H.No.18 in Ward No. 27 is where we do our work. It’s in the Camp area of Yamuna Nagar. This is the office for Sr. Prod. Engg. The building is a bit old, like many of the houses around here. We’ve got a small sign by the door, but most people just know us as the place where the production guys work. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have some heavy desks and a couple of filing cabinets that are overflowing with technical specs. Yamuna Nagar is an industrial town, so there is always the sound of machinery or trucks in the distance. We spend a lot of time looking at production schedules and trying to figure out how to make things run better. It’s not a clean-room environment; there’s usually a bit of grease on the floor or some metal shavings we tracked in from a site visit. We don’t have a secretary or anyone to answer the phones, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest just goes to the door. We have a small kettle for making coffee and tea because the winters here are quite biting. We aren't fancy people. We just focus on the engineering side of production and try to make sure everything gets made the right way. It’s a simple life and a simple office, but we like it that way.
