Hemanshu Engineering Works

We’ve been running things here at Hemanshu Engineering Works for quite a while now. If you head over to Plot No. 8-9 in the Industrial Estate, you’ll find our shop right where it’s always been. It is a bit loud most days with the machines running, but that is just how the work gets done. I remember when we first moved into this space, it felt huge, but now every corner is filled with tools and metal parts. Some days it’s a bit of a mess, honestly. My hands are usually covered in oil by lunch. We just focus on getting the jobs finished that people bring in. It might be a small part or something bigger, but we look at each piece of metal the same way. The air smells like cutting fluid and old iron. We don’t really have a fancy front office or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably see me or one of the guys standing by a lathe. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to take a break, which is when we usually sit outside for a bit. It’s hard work, and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. But it is what we do. People around the estate know us as the place that’s been here forever. We just keep our heads down and handle the engineering work that comes through the door every morning.
