Hardev Bakers

Hardev Bakers is tucked away in Pahadi Bazar, right near the Chhota Bus Stand. Being so close to the bus stand means we see a lot of people just passing through. It’s a hectic spot, especially in the mornings when the buses are all lined up. We focus on getting things ready for the early commuters. There’s always the smell of baking bread in the air around our shop. We’ve been in this location for years, and the building shows its age a bit, but it works for us. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. Most people find us because they’re waiting for a ride and want something to eat. Our team is small, mostly just a few of us who have lived here forever. We handle the dough, watch the timers, and bag everything up. The shelves aren't always perfectly straight, and sometimes the handwriting on the price tags is a bit messy. But the food is what matters. It's a loud, busy part of town, and we’re just another part of the scenery. We have our regulars who come in for their daily loaf, and we have the travelers who we might never see again. We just keep the ovens hot and make sure there’s something on the counter for whoever walks through the door next. We hope the biscuits are crunchy and the bread is soft enough. It’s just a simple bakery trying to get by in a busy market.
