Bahaar Ventures

If you head over to Workshop Road, you’ll find Bahaar Ventures on the first floor of building 94-A. Being on Workshop Road means there is always the sound of metal clanging or engines revving somewhere nearby. It’s an industrial sort of feeling, and we’ve gotten used to the noise over time. Our space is up a narrow set of stairs that are a bit steep. Inside, it’s mostly open with a few partitions we put up ourselves to separate the desks. We do a bit of everything here, handling different projects as they come in. There’s no fancy lobby or a person waiting to greet you at the door. Usually, you’ll just see someone hunched over a laptop or talking loudly on a mobile phone. We have a small balcony where we keep some dying potted plants and where we go to take a breather when the office feels too small. The ceiling has some water stains from a leak we had last year, but it’s dry now. We don't really have a dress code, so you'll see us in jeans and t-shirts most of the time. It’s a busy atmosphere, and things can get a bit messy when we have multiple deadlines hitting at once. We just focus on getting through the pile of tasks on our desks and making sure the bills are paid on time.
