Panch Foron

Panch Foron is located on the ground floor at shop number 16/1 on Office Lane in Agartala. We are very close to the SDM Office, so we get a lot of people who work in government buildings or folks who are in town for official business. The SDM office crowd is always in a hurry. Office Lane is a pretty busy street during the daytime. We decided to set up here because there’s always something going on. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit enough seating for the lunch rush. The floor is just plain cement, which makes it easy to clean. It gets pretty crowded around 1:00 PM, and sometimes people have to wait a few minutes for a stool to open up. We don't mind the noise; it makes the day go by faster. Our team is small, mostly just a couple of people in the back and someone at the front. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy decor. The walls have a few simple things on them, and the furniture is just basic wooden stuff. We focus more on making sure the food is ready on time for the workers who only have a short break. It’s a straightforward business. We open early to get the prep done and close up once the offices around us start shutting down. It’s been a good spot for us, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the clerks and officers who stop by.
