Singi Turtung Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group, Singi Turtung Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located at Plot No 963 in the village of Tirilpi. We are specifically in the Tola-Talabasa area, which is part of the Jhinkpani block. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the local paths, but it's where we live and work. We have our Khata No 24 registered and that’s where we handle all the business for the farmers in our circle. We aren't a big, shiny company. We’re more of a collection of neighbors who wanted to see if we could get a better handle on our agro business by working together. The office is just a simple room where we keep our files and meet up when the sun isn't too hot. We spend a lot of time out in Tirilpi talking to the men and women who are actually doing the planting. It’s a lot of work to keep everyone on the same page, but being right here in the village makes it easier. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the crops are good and that everyone gets a fair shake. It’s quiet out here in Jhinkpani, and we like it that way. It gives us time to focus on the actual farming instead of worrying about big-city problems. We just keep our heads down and work.
