Chakradharpur Farmer Producer Company Limited is located on the Main Road in Chakradharpur. We are based at Ganesh Mandal’s place, which is near Godakhupo. It’s a good location because it’s easy for all the local farmers to stop by. We aren't a big company with a lot of money, just a group of us who work the land and wanted to organize ourselves. The office is just a room where we keep our books and talk about the business. It’s not very polished or professional-looking, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our time out in the fields, but we meet here to plan for the next crop or to talk about the prices we are getting. Being on the main road helps because it’s central for everyone. Ganesh is usually around, and there is almost always someone there to talk to if a farmer has a question. We don't have any corporate slogans or big marketing ideas. We just know how to grow things and we want to do it better together. It’s a lot of work and sometimes it's stressful when the rain doesn't come or the prices are low, but we have each other. We are just a local bunch of farmers trying to make a living. You can find us near Godakhupo if you ever need anything.
