Sri Yn College Narsapur

Sri Yn College Narsapur is located right on College Street, and we are very close to the post office here in Narsapuram. This part of Andhra Pradesh, near the Godawari, has a specific feel to it. The college has been standing here for a long time, and the building shows its age in some spots. We have students coming in from the town and also from the smaller villages nearby. Most days, the place is full of young people hanging around the corridors or sitting under the trees between their classes. It is not a very formal place. You will see staff members chatting with students or people just going about their daily business. The office can be a bit of a mess with all the paperwork for admissions and exams, but we manage to find everything eventually. Since we are so close to the center of town, there is always something going on nearby. You can hear the sounds of the market and the local traffic throughout the day. We do not have big air-conditioned halls or anything like that. We mostly rely on ceiling fans and the natural air. It is a place where people come to get their degrees and hopefully find a job later. We just provide the space and the teachers to help them do that. It is a simple, working college that has been a part of this community’s life for many generations now.
