Andhra Bible College

Down on Vanguru Road, you'll find the Andhra Bible College within the IBM Campus area. Eluru is a busy place, but once you get inside our gates, things quiet down quite a bit. It’s not a very big campus, but it has enough room for the students to sit under the trees and talk. We have a few main buildings where the classes happen and a library that stays pretty quiet most of the time. The weather in Eluru can be quite humid, so we keep the windows wide open to catch any breeze that comes through. Most of the people here are focused on their studies and their daily prayers. It’s a simple life. We don’t have any high-tech gadgets everywhere, just bibles, notebooks, and a lot of discussion. The staff stays in a small office near the entrance, and we’re usually busy with paperwork or talking to the visitors who stop by. Lunchtime is when the place feels most alive, with everyone heading to the dining area. We’ve had students from all over the region come through these doors. Some stay for a long time, others just a few years. It’s a practical place, really. We keep the hedges trimmed and the floors swept, and that’s about it. There’s a certain rhythm to the day here that doesn’t change much from year to year, which is something we’ve all grown used to.
