Sweet Heart Gallery

The shop at 200 Virender Nagar has been there quite some time now. In Janakpuri, things change fast, but Sweet Heart Gallery just stays the same. Most days it is just us moving things around and trying to find space for new stock that arrives. We sell cards, small gifts, and some frames, though the frames take up way too much room in the back. It gets pretty crowded when more than three people walk in at once. We don't have a big fancy team or anything like that. It's just a few of us making sure the lights are on and the floor is swept, though the dust from the road always finds its way back in. People from around Janakpuri stop by when they forget a birthday or need a quick gift for a party. We do our own thing here. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to tell people to come back the next day, which is never great but that's how it goes. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a spot where you can grab something and go. The neighborhood knows us pretty well. If you are looking for us, we are right there in Virender Nagar. It's a simple setup. We don't use much technology besides the basics, so we usually remember our regulars by face rather than by a computer file. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. We just keep the door open for whoever walks in.
