Jhoomar

You can find Jhoomar on the first floor of 6/62 in West Punjabi Bagh. It’s a decent-sized space, though it gets filled up quickly with all our stuff. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a good while now. West Punjabi Bagh has a specific feel to it, and we fit right in. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day operations. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have new arrivals. Being on the first floor means we have to carry things up and down the stairs, which can be a bit of a workout. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or polished websites. Jhoomar is about the work we do right here in this office. We have some regular visitors from the area who stop by to see what’s new. The lighting in the shop isn't always perfect, but we try to make it look okay for anyone who walks in. We like the community in Punjabi Bagh. It’s where we started and where we plan to stay. Our desks are usually covered in papers and boxes. It might look messy to someone else, but we know where everything is. Running Jhoomar keeps us on our toes, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just open up, make some tea, and get on with whatever needs doing that morning.
