Super Frontline Biscuit

If you walk down the street in Uttam Nagar Milap Nagar near F 22/2, you will probably smell us before you see us. We have been baking biscuits in this same spot for quite a while. The ovens are old and they make the whole place feel like a sauna during the summer months. We don't use fancy machines for everything. A lot of it is still done by hand, like traying the dough and checking the brownness. Our floor is permanently dusted with white flour, no matter how much we sweep it. We make the kind of biscuits people like to dip in their tea. Nothing too sweet or complicated. Just basic stuff that fills you up. We pack them into large plastic containers and stack them against the walls. Sometimes the neighborhood kids stop by for the broken ones we can't sell. We don't have a storefront with a big sign. It's more of a workshop where the work happens in the back. The neighbors are used to the noise of the mixer starting up at dawn. It is a small operation with just a handful of staff. We don't spend money on ads. The quality of the crunch usually does the talking for us. It is hard work on your feet all day, but seeing the stacks of full jars at the end of the shift feels good.
