This Mc Donalds is over in Janak Puri, specifically at C2B/111 C. It’s a busy spot in New Delhi and we are always on our feet. The kitchen is loud with the sound of timers going off and the friers buzzing. Most of us start our shifts early to get everything ready for the lunch crowd. It is not just about making burgers; there is a lot of cleaning and restocking that people don't see. The lobby gets crowded with kids and families, especially on the weekends. We have to keep a close eye on the tables to make sure they are wiped down. The heat from the grills makes the back area pretty warm, so we are always glad for our breaks. We see all kinds of people from the Janak Puri neighborhood coming in. Some are in a huge rush and others just want to sit and talk for an hour. Our manager is usually around making sure we don't run out of supplies. It can be stressful when the line gets long and everyone is hungry. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a big group walks in. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory in the back storage room. It’s a fast-paced environment and by the time we finish our shift, we are usually pretty tired. It is just a regular job in a busy part of Delhi.
