You wouldn’t really expect to find us tucked away in Mahendra Park, but here we are at Flat No. 8 in the RZ-49 block. It’s a very residential part of Uttam Nagar in New Delhi. This definitely isn't one of those big shiny outlets you see at the shopping malls. It’s more of a home base for our little corner of the world. The neighborhood is very crowded, with narrow lanes and plenty of local shops nearby. We spend our days handling the local side of things for the Mc Donalds name in this specific area. It gets pretty loud outside with the bikes and the local market stalls selling vegetables. Inside, we have a very simple setup. There are some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of paperwork regarding supplies and staff schedules. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. Most of the walls just have calendars or handwritten notes pinned to them. It’s a practical space where we get the real work done every day. The heat in Delhi during the summer is no joke, so the AC is always running, or at least we try to keep it going when the power is stable. We know most of the people on this street. It feels very connected to the local community here in Uttam Nagar. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and make sure everything is running smoothly for the day ahead of us.
