Sunchit Selection

Sunchit Selection is a small shop located at D-1 in Punjabi Basti, which is part of the Nangloi area. It is a local neighborhood spot, far away from the big fancy malls. We focus on clothes and selections that the people living around here actually want to wear. The shop is basically one large room with racks lining the walls. We do not have a big staff, just us and maybe a relative helping out on the busy days. Nangloi can be a bit dusty, and the road outside is not always in the best shape, so we are constantly sweeping the front step to keep the dirt out. We know a lot of the people who walk through the door by their first names because they live just a few streets away. It is a simple operation where we try to keep things honest and straightforward. We do not do any big advertising; people just know we are here at D-1. Sometimes we sit outside on a plastic chair when things are slow, watching the kids play in the street or the neighbors heading to the market. The sign above the door is a bit faded from the sun, but it still does the job. We are not looking to change much about how we work. We like the pace of the neighborhood and the way everyone knows everyone else’s business. It is just a regular life in a regular part of town.
