Sonu Engineering Works

Sonu Engineering Works has been at this spot in Hari Nagar for quite some time now. We are located at 117 E, right on the Main Mayapuri Road in Phase 2, specifically in the Ms Block. If you walk down this way, you can usually hear the sound of the machines running from the street. It’s a noisy place, I’ll admit that. We have some old lathes and a few newer machines that we use for various jobs that come our way. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by midday, and we try our best to sweep it up before we head home. My brother and I run the place along with two helpers who have been with us for years. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation; we just like fixing things and making parts that people need for their own businesses. The tea stall nearby brings us glasses of hot chai twice a day, which is the best part of the morning. The shop gets pretty hot in the summer months because of all the metal and the machines running constantly, but we’re used to it. We just keep the big fans going and get on with the work. People from around the Ms Block know us by name, and that’s how we like it. We don't have a fancy front office or anything, just a desk with a lot of papers and the heavy smell of grease.
