Kuldeep Engineering Works Regd.

Starting at J-220/74 in Vishnu Garden every morning usually involves clearing out the dust that settles overnight. Our workshop here at Kuldeep Engineering Works Regd. is a bit loud once the machines get going, but that is just how the neighborhood is. There are a lot of small shops around us, so the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a lathe is pretty common. We have been in this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we usually spend our time making sure the equipment is running right instead of worrying about the decor. Most days, you will find us covered in a bit of grease or metal shavings. It is not a fancy setup. We have got our benches lined up, and the floor is concrete, which gets cold in the winters. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we just wait it out and have some tea from the stall down the lane. People know where we are because of the sign out front, though it has faded over the years. We keep things simple here. We show up, do the work that needs doing, and close the shutters when the sun goes down. It is a lot of manual effort, but it keeps the lights on and the families fed. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small desk in the corner for the paperwork.
