Surjeet Engineering Works

Surjeet Engineering Works is located in Vishnu Garden at Gali Number 5. Our workshop address is Na-8A, and we are right across from Guru Gobind Singh Hospital. Being near the hospital makes it easy for people to find us. We have been running these machines for a long time. It’s an engineering shop, so it’s loud and smells like metal and cutting oil most of the time. We have a few old lathes and some drill presses that have seen a lot of use over the years. My hands are usually stained black from the grease, no matter how much I wash them. We do a lot of custom repair work for local businesses and people who bring in broken parts. The street outside is quite narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when a customer brings a big piece of equipment in. We start early in the morning before the hospital area gets too crowded. There’s no fancy air conditioning here, just a couple of wall fans that move the heavy air around. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here in Vishnu Garden for years and people know we can fix things that others might just throw away. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough to not worry about much else. We just like to keep the machines turning every day.
