Samrat Engineering Works

Samrat Engineering is over in Phase-2 of the Mayapuri Industrial Area, at F-136. It’s a typical industrial spot with lots of grease and heavy iron everywhere. We spend most of our time working on lathes or milling machines. The air always smells a bit like burnt oil and metal shavings. There are a few of us here, and we’ve been working together for a long time, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs to be done. It’s a loud environment, but you get used to the rhythm of the machines after a while. We handle a lot of custom parts that people can’t find anywhere else. It’s not a place for people who don't like getting their hands dirty. We don't have a fancy showroom or a website that works right. Most people just find us because they’ve heard we do solid work. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend our breaks. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big order, and the whole street is quiet except for our shop. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just take the raw metal and turn it into whatever the customer asked for. It's tough work and the machines are old, but they are reliable and so are we. Being in Mayapuri means we are right in the middle of everything. Sometimes the power fluctuations mean we have to stop the bigger machines, but we just use that time to sweep up.
