We are located at 1414/28 in Tughlakabad Extension, which is very close to the Tara Apartment complex. Rsd Milk & Food Pvt. Ltd. has been part of this neighborhood for quite a few years. Our day starts much earlier than most people’s, usually around four in the morning when the first milk delivery arrives. It’s quiet on the streets then, except for the sound of crates being moved around. The space we have is quite small, so we have to be very organized with how we stack everything. We have several large refrigerators that take up most of the back room, and they hum loudly all day long. Sometimes the floor gets a bit slippery from condensation or a spill, so we have to be careful. We know most of the families living in the nearby apartments because they come by for their daily essentials. We don't have a fancy storefront with big glass windows. It's just a regular door with a simple sign above it. We handle a lot of the deliveries ourselves, using a small van that we park in the narrow lane outside. Sometimes the traffic in Tughlakabad is so bad that it takes us twice as long as it should to get anywhere. We don't have a corporate office or a board of directors; it’s just us doing the work. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We just try to keep the stock fresh and the records straight.
