Ranjeet Engineering Works

We are over at Plot No.116/1 in Musidabad, right near the Chara Mandi in Najafgarh. It is an industrial sort of area, and you can definitely tell when you get close to our workshop. There is usually a faint smell of metal and machine oil in the air. We have got our machines set up across the floor, and they have seen plenty of use over the years. It is a noisy place most of the time with the grinding and the clinking of tools, but that is just how engineering works. We spend our time fixing parts, welding things together, or just trying to figure out why a particular piece of equipment isn’t behaving the way it should. The floor is rarely clean, no matter how much we sweep it, because that is just the nature of this job. We have a small corner where we keep our hand tools and a bench that has been worn smooth from years of use. Najafgarh can be a bit of a trek for some people to get to, but it is where we have always been. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy lobby for visitors. If you come by to see us, you will probably find us mid-job, covered in a bit of grease and dust. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything we put together is solid. It gets quite hot inside during the summer months, but we just keep the doors open.
