Ramsons Engineering Works

Ramsons Engineering Works is located in the Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase-2, at C-74. This place is not for casual visitors; it is all about heavy metal and big machines. The shop is usually very loud because of all the welding and grinding we do. By lunchtime, my hands and clothes are usually covered in black grease. We do a lot of specific work for other factories and businesses in this part of Delhi. There are piles of steel tubes and iron rods sitting in the corners of the workshop. I have a few workers who have been with me for many years now. The concrete floor is stained with oil and it has some cracks from moving heavy parts around. It is a tough place to work, especially in the peak of summer when the machines make everything even hotter. We keep some big fans running and drink plenty of water to get through the day. My office is just a tiny desk in the corner with an old calendar and some dusty files. People come in with hand-drawn sketches of parts they need us to make. We sit and talk about the measurements and how long it will take. There is always a truck backing into the lane or someone unloading supplies. It is not a pretty place, but we work hard and get the orders finished on time.
