Our small office is at 602A in the Ansal Majestic Tower over in Vikas Puri. It’s a typical commercial building, so we share the elevators with a lot of other businesses. We deal in various ingredients, which means we spend a lot of time looking at catalogs and price lists. It’s not a factory, just the administrative side of things. We have a few computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and plenty of coffee. Vikas Puri is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside. We aren't a huge team, just a few people handling the phones and the paperwork. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a specific ingredient, we find out where it is and how to get it to them. It’s mostly logistics and customer service without the corporate fluff. The office can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We appreciate the fact that we’re in a well-known building because it makes it easier for people to find us. We just come in every day, handle our accounts, and try to keep the business moving forward. It’s practical, everyday work. We might not have a view from our window, but we stay focused on what is on our desks and making sure the orders are correct.
