If you’re looking for R K Machine Tools, we are at Be-386 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area. We are specifically in Hari Nagar, down Galli Number 7. It’s one of those streets where you have to be careful where you park because it’s so tight. Mayapuri is famous for metal and machinery, and we are right in the middle of it. Our shop is full of heavy equipment and the smell of cutting oil. It’s been our base for a long time. We work on various machine parts and sometimes we take on repair jobs that others don't want to touch. The floor is always covered in iron filings, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. We drink our tea together twice a day and talk about the news or the local gossip. It’s a loud environment with the grinders and saws going, so we’ve all learned to speak a bit louder than normal. Galli Number 7 can be a bit of a mess when it rains, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have any corporate slogans or fancy brochures. We just show people the work we’ve done and that’s usually enough. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living and we’re proud of the shop we’ve built here over the years. We just keep going one day at a time.
