R K Food Products is tucked away in the Nangli Sakrawati Industrial Area, over at Roshan Pura. The exact spot is 176/1/1 if you are looking for us. Being in an industrial area means things are a bit different than a regular shop on a main street. There are trucks moving in and out all day, and the sound of machines is pretty much constant. We deal with food products, so we have to be careful about how everything is handled and packed. It’s dusty outside on the roads here, so we spend a lot of time keeping our inside space as clean as possible. It is mostly just hard work and long hours. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. Just the work floor and the storage. Most of the people working here have been with us for a while, so we all know the routine. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. By the afternoon, it gets quite hot under the roof, but we just keep going. It’s an honest way to make a living, making things that people end up eating. We focus on the production side of things and making sure the orders go out to the right places. It’s not glamorous, but it is our daily life here in Roshan Pura. We have been in this same spot for a long time and we know it well.
