R K Buiscuit Works

Out here in Uttam Nagar, things move pretty fast, but inside R K Buiscuit Works, it is mostly about the rhythm of the ovens. We have been at this for a good while, and the smell of baking dough is just part of the air now. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the work done. Every morning starts early with the big sacks of flour and sugar being moved around. The heat from the back area where the baking happens is constant, which makes the winters nice but the summers a bit tough. We spend a lot of time packaging things into boxes and making sure everything is stacked right on the shelves. It is a lot of manual work, getting the textures right and watching the timers. People around Uttam Nagar know where we are, and sometimes they just follow the scent of the biscuits right to the door. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the trays and the dough. There is usually flour on someone’s shirt and the sound of the metal trays clinking together. We don't really do much talking, mostly just focusing on the next batch coming out. It is a messy job sometimes with all the crumbs and the sugar, but it is what keeps us busy. The street outside is always noisy, but we just stay focused on the biscuits and the daily tasks.
