We are located over in Janak Puri, specifically at D-1/71. It’s a residential area mostly, so it feels a bit more relaxed than the city center. We deal with ear, nose, and throat stuff. It’s a specific kind of work. Most of our patients are from around this part of Delhi. You see a lot of kids with ear infections and older folks who can't hear as well as they used to. The clinic isn't huge. We have a few rooms and a small front desk where we keep all the files. It gets the job done. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know the shortcuts to avoid the main road traffic during the afternoon. We try to keep the atmosphere calm. People come in worrying about their hearing or a sinus problem that won't go away. We listen to them. We don't use a lot of medical jargon because it just confuses people. Just plain English or Hindi, whatever they’re comfortable with. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk, and we have to spend the afternoon catching up. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important to the people who live nearby. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live three streets over. It works out fine for us. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. It’s practical work and we’re glad to be doing it here.
