You can find us at Shed No. 20 in the Dsidc Industrial Complex on Rohtak Road. Being near the Udyog Nagar Metro Station makes it easy for the guys to get to work, which is a help. This area is full of sheds just like ours, all making different things. At Precision Parts Mfg. Co., we focus on smaller components. The industrial complex has a specific feel to it, lots of trucks coming and going and the smell of oil in the air. Our shed isn't the biggest, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment of metal arrives, but we manage. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a script. Usually, if the phone rings, someone just shouts for the person who knows the answer. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints or checking the measurements on a piece we just finished. It’s tedious work sometimes, but that is the nature of making parts. The lights in the shed are bright so we can see what we are doing, but the corners are usually a bit dark and filled with old crates. It’s a real working environment, not something out of a magazine. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the news. Then it's back to the machines until the shift ends.
