Pearl Engineering Company

Pearl Engineering Company has its home in Mayapuri Phase-1, over at B-94/95. If you’ve ever been to the Mayapuri Industrial Area, you know it’s a maze of shops and factories. We’ve been squeezed into this spot for quite some time. The building is old and shows its age, but it’s sturdy. We do a lot of metal fabrication and engineering tasks here. It’s a two-plot setup, so we have a bit more room than some of our neighbors, but it still feels crowded once the materials arrive. There is always the sound of grinding or welding coming from the shop floor. We don't have any air conditioning in the work area, just some big fans that move the hot air around. It’s hard work, but we are used to the pace of Mayapuri. Most of our guys have been doing this for decades. They can tell if a machine is running wrong just by the sound it makes. We don't do much in the way of fancy marketing. Most of our orders come from people we've known for years. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and finishing the pieces. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. The traffic in Phase-1 can be a nightmare, but we manage to get our shipments out eventually. We just stay focused on the metal and the machines every day.
