Parkash Dairy

We are situated at 16/17 on Mandir Marg in Subhash Nagar. The shop is right near the Sanatan Dharam Mandir, so we often hear the bells and the sounds from the temple throughout the day. Running a dairy means our work starts much earlier than most other shops. We are usually here when it’s still dark outside, getting things ready. The floor is often a bit wet because we are constantly cleaning the milk crates and the fridge area. It’s a practical kind of job. We don't have any fancy decor or comfortable chairs. There are metal counters and heavy refrigerators that hum all day long. Being in Subhash Nagar, we see the same people every morning who are out for their early walks or headed to the temple. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are on Mandir Marg. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to wait around on the sidewalk, but usually, things go according to the routine. The shop smells like fresh milk and cold air. It is a simple place, and we are just regular people working here. We handle the bottles and packets, keep an eye on the dates, and make sure the place stays clean enough for the next day. There is no corporate mission here, just the daily task of running a dairy in a busy neighborhood.
