You can find this Baskin Robines at E-14 in Mahavir Enclave Part III. It is situated on Gali No. 64, which is in the Uttam Nagar area. A good way to find us is to look for the Gosia Masjid nearby, as we are quite close to it. The shop itself is small, dominated by the big glass freezers that hold all the different tubs of ice cream. Because it gets so hot in this part of Delhi, the freezers have to work very hard, and you can always hear the hum of the compressors in the background. We spend a lot of time wiping down the counters because things get sticky very quickly when the ice cream starts to melt. During the evenings, the street gets really crowded with families and kids coming out for a treat. We have a few small stools for people to sit on, but most folks just stand around or take their cones to go. The floor is tiled and we have to mop it several times a day to keep it looking okay. It’s a simple job of scooping and talking to the neighbors who stop by. We don't have any big corporate speeches; we just make sure the lids are on tight and the spoons are stocked up for the next person who walks through the door. It gets busy after dinner time when everyone wants something sweet.
