We are based in a house at A2A/225 in Janakpuri, New Delhi. It might seem a bit different working from a residential building, but it works for us. Our pin code is 110058. Inside, we have rows of desks with computers and headsets. Since we are a BPO, the office is almost always noisy with people talking and the hum of the air conditioners. We handle a lot of different tasks for people, mostly over the phone or through emails. It’s a lot of sitting and typing for long hours. We have a small group of people here, and we all know each other’s names. We don't have a big cafeteria, so we usually just eat our lunch at our desks or go to a local shop around the corner. The streets in Janakpuri are always packed with cars, so getting to work can take some time. We have shifts that go late into the night. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just part of the daily grind in this part of the city. We don't have any big signs out front or fancy lobby furniture. It’s just a place where we come to do our jobs and then go home. We’ve been in this house for a few years now and it feels like a second home for most of us who work here.
