Mustard Research And Promotion Consortium

We are based in New Delhi 110058 which is a busy part of the city. Being the Mustard Research And Promotion Consortium means we spend a lot of time thinking about crops and how things grow but our office is just a normal room in a big building. There are plenty of desks and piles of documents everywhere you look. Delhi is always hot or cold or dusty so we spend a lot of time adjusting the air conditioning or the heaters. The area around here has a lot of other offices too so lunchtime is always a bit of a scramble to find a seat at the local stalls. We are not a corporation with shiny floors and people in suits. We are just a group of people who know a lot about mustard and we try to get that information out to whoever needs it. Some days we are stuck on the phone for hours and other days we are just typing up reports. The traffic on the way to the office is usually a nightmare but that is just part of living in Delhi. We have a small pantry where we make tea and talk about the news. It’s a very ordinary place where we do some pretty specific work. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in and do what needs doing for the day. Sometimes we have meetings where we just sit around a big wooden table and look at maps of different states.
