Milan Pan Bhandar

We’ve been here in Kirti Nagar Block for a while now. Most people around Kirti Nagar 4 know the spot because it’s just where we’ve always been. It is a small space, nothing fancy at all, just Milan Pan Bhandar. Every morning we open up, sweep the front, and get things ready for the day. You see the same faces every afternoon when the heat gets bad and people want a little break. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. It’s just about being there when someone walks past and wants something. The shelves are mostly full of the usual stuff you’d expect. Sometimes it gets busy, especially on the weekends when families are out walking around the block, but mostly it's a quiet rhythm. We know the neighbors and they know us. The shop doesn't change much over the years. We keep the counters wiped down and try to keep things organized, even if it gets a bit cluttered behind the scenes. It's just a regular part of the street here. There isn't a big story behind it, just a lot of days spent sitting here watching the cars go by. We’ve seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up and start coming in on their own. It’s a simple life running a place like this in Delhi. We just stay open until late and then go home to do it again tomorrow.
