Manchanda Engg. Works

Manchanda Engg. Works is tucked away in Vishnu Garden, specifically at Wz 53/1. This part of Village Khyala is quite residential but there are shops all along the lanes. We are very close to the Lal Building School, so every morning and afternoon we hear the kids shouting and playing as they walk past. The shop itself is not very big but we have managed to fit our lathes and machines inside. There is an old wooden door that stays open most of the time so we can get some fresh air. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks and plenty of oil stains from the years of working on parts. We mostly do small engineering jobs and repairs for whoever walks in. It is a local kind of place where neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask for a small tool. Sometimes the noise from our drilling bothers the street but everyone is pretty used to it by now. We have a small bench where we sit for lunch and the shop dog usually hangs out near the entrance. It is a bit cluttered with scrap metal and old spare parts that we might need one day. We do not bother with big advertisements or anything like that. We just open up early and do the work that comes our way.
