We are located at D-145, in Shed No. 8 on the ground floor. This is the Hastsal Industrial Area in Uttam Nagar. It’s right across from the Kohli International School, so we hear the school bell and the kids playing every afternoon. Working in an industrial area means it’s never really quiet. There is always someone welding something or a truck idling nearby. Our shed is pretty basic. We’ve got the machines set up and not much else. It gets pretty hot in there during June, but we have a couple of big fans that help a little bit. We do engineering work, mostly small parts and repairs that people bring in. It’s dusty and oily work, so don't come in wearing your best clothes. We’ve been here for several years now. The landlord is okay, and the neighbors in the other sheds are good people. We share tools sometimes when someone is in a pinch. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. If you need something made or fixed, you just walk in and show us what you’ve got. We’ll take a look and tell you if we can do it. Most of the time we can. It’s just honest work with our hands, trying to get things right. The floor is always a bit slippery from the oil, so we tell everyone to watch their step. It's just the nature of the work we do here. We keep a pot of tea going in the corner for whenever we take a break.
