Kochhar Imports

Kochhar Imports is located at 16/249 in the Moti Nagar Industrial Area, right near the old Milan Cinema. This isn't one of those shiny new business parks. It’s a real industrial zone with plenty of grit and grease. Our building is a simple structure that’s been around for years. We’ve set up shop here because it’s practical for what we do, which is importing goods. There’s a lot of truck traffic on our street, and it can get pretty loud with all the loading and unloading. We don't mind the noise much anymore. The office is right inside the warehouse area, so it’s always a bit dusty and smells like cardboard. We aren't trying to look professional in the corporate sense. We just wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty when we need to. The Milan Cinema is the best landmark to tell people about because the street layout in Moti Nagar can be a mess for anyone who doesn't live here. We know the guys in the neighboring units well. Sometimes we share a pot of tea in the afternoon. It’s a tough area but there’s a sense of community among the workers here. We focus on checking our shipments and making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s repetitive work, but it’s what we know. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll just find us working among the crates.
