Keane India

We’ve been over here at Vikaspuri in the D.D.A. Flats for a while now. Block Kg-2 is one of those places where everyone kind of knows each other, or at least they recognize your face after a week. Our office at number 231 isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we get our work done for Keane India. It gets a bit noisy during the day when people are coming and going from the other flats, but we’ve gotten used to the background sounds of the neighborhood. Most of us take the metro or find a spot for the scooters nearby, which isn't always easy. We spend most of our time at these desks just looking at screens and handling whatever comes through the door. Some days are faster than others. There’s a tea shop around the corner where we usually end up when we need a break from the monitors. We didn't plan on being a big corporate hub or anything like that. We just needed a place to set up the computers and stay organized. It works for us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it feels like home. Being based in New Delhi means dealing with the heat and the dust, but having the office right here in a residential block makes it feel less like a grind and more like part of the community. We just keep our heads down and keep moving.
